Lindsey's Spring Bash

Lindsey's Spring Bash at Preschool was tonight. She announced earlier in the week that she was going to be like a movie star but she wasn't going to wear black like they do. I was a very happy mom when she agreed to wear one of her smocked dresses AND a bow. I know my days are numbered with these kind of outfits so I have to enjoy it while I can and take as many pictures as possible!

Lindsey and Molly before the "show."

Molly, Lindsey, Jayden, and Hannah before heading out to the program.

In the car, Lindsey was shouting "hooray for me, hooray for me." She couldn't get out of the car fast enough to head in for the show.

Waiting for Miss Lindsey to make her appearance on stage.

Lindsey and friends singing "Zacchaeus."

After the show posing for a shot with her Daddy.

The after party consisted of ice cream sundaes and dressing up like princesses...even Jayden! Fun ending to a very cute performance by all the adorable preschool kids. I'm so glad she has a late birthday so we get to do preschool one more year.

"I Punched It Out"

David was on his way to Raleigh this morning and called at 7:00 a.m. to make sure we were all up. While I was on the phone with him, Molly came running downstairs screaming, "I punched my tooth out." She went on to explain that when she got up and was doing her exercises ?!? her hand went a little crazy and punched out her loose tooth. Needless to say, she couldn't wait to get on the phone with her Daddy and then wanted to call Grammy and B to share the exciting news.

On the phone with Daddy clutching her tooth!

Big smiles with the new hole.

Opening her "I lost my first tooth present."

A tooth fairy doll...you put your tooth in the little purse attached to her...that Molly decided she didn't want to use. She wanted to do it "like you and daddy did when you were little."

Right before bed showing me her note for the "tot fare" and the bag with her tooth and a quarter for the tooth fairy "in case she needs money."

And for all of you wondering what the tooth fairy does with the teeth she collects..."she uses them to build her castle."

Fancy Nancy Goes To School...and other happenings

It was dress as your favorite character day at school and Molly decided to be Fancy Nancy.
And oh was she fancy....two boas, a "posh" puppy, some stylin' glasses, and a tutu.

Striking a pose...

Magic Kingdom...One Last Time

We went back to the Magic Kingdom on Friday, our last day of vacation. We hit all of our favorite rides again and added a few new ones. Diane was a great sport and rode in front on Splash Mountain and the girls thought it was hilarious when she got soaked. We also rode Thunder Mountain which Lindsey joined us on as well. Another incredible day!

Soaked Grammy!

We were at the perfect place at the perfect time again so we had a great spot for the parade and fireworks. It was so worth sitting on that curb for an hour. The parade and fireworks were beyond anything I could have imagined. Tinkerbell flying out of the castle was the perfect magical ending to a magical week.

Micky and Minnie's float

One more Cinderella sighting which thrilled the girls.

The castle at night was gorgeous. Lindsey said she could see the princesses walking around through the windows. She also has a few people that live in her head. :)

Ariel and Flounder

Fireworks!

One last look back...

Goodbye Disney! We hope to be back again very, very soon.
Molly and Lindsey Comments about the last day...
Molly: "I loved it when Grammy got soaking wet. I love Grammy. I want to go back to Disney tomorrow."
Lindsey: "Thank you for Splash Mountain and thank you for going on It's A Small World and I love It's A Small World. And the roller coaster that was a train. That's all. From Lindsey For Grammy. And for Mommy buying me baby Micky."

Animal Kingdom

Hollywood Studios

After the Princess breakfast, we headed to Hollywood Studios. Lindsey was ready to get into some normal clothes and Molly was ready for another princess dress. She transformed from Cinderella to Alice and was ready for the rest of the day. We started by seeing the show, Beauty and the Beast. At the end of the show, we ran into friends of ours from Columbia who have a four year old boy that announced he had ridden Tower of Terror, TWICE! Molly had no intention of going on that ride until Connor shared his daring feat. She was quick to change her mind so we headed to the scary hotel.

Molly and David given their best scary face before going to ride Tower of Terror.

I fully anticipated that they would come walking down the hill because Molly had changed her mind. Instead, they came walking down with thumbs up and HUGE smiles. Brave, girl!!!

A little salad nourishment after the big ride.

And another ice cream for little bit.

High School Musical 3 show which the girls loved!

David and Ernie. Roller Coaster riding boys.

Sharing a frozen lemonade Lindsey and Molly style.

Lindsey decorated herself on the way back to the condo with fairy stickers.

Tomorrow...pool day. Everyone was exhausted from all the fun and ready for a day of rest poolside.

Princess Breakfast

Tuesday morning was the Princess Breakfast. Molly was EXTREMELY particular about her hair, how we placed the headband, and poor Grammy had to hem and bustle her dress more than once. Lindsey on the other hand, wanted to wear her Cinderella dress with her Princess Aurora crown and didn't care one bit that they didn't match. Both of our princesses were beautiful and so excited about meeting all of the real princesses at the castle.

Our two Cinderella girls ready for the breakfast.

Lindsey in line before the breakfast to get Fairy Godmother's autograph.

Fairy Godmother with the girls.

The Castle!

We had pictures with Cinderella before the breakfast on the bench. I didn't move fast enough to get any with Cinderella and the girls with my own camera.

"I believe, I believe..."

Snow White and the girls.

Jasmine and Princess Aurora

The smile says it all...a fabulous princess breakfast.

One ride before leaving the park.

Sweet Lindsey.

Love from Daddy...

A stop by the gift shop where Lindsey had a little floor time with a huge Micky and Minnie.

On the way out of the park, we saw the three step sisters which were my favorite princesses. A little off color and very funny. Lindsey said she was afraid they were going to rip her dress.
Time to change and head to Hollywood Studios!
