Well, if we still lived in Northern Virgina we wouldn't call it a snow day but we will take what we can get here in South Carolina. They canceled school at 5:00 p.m. before there was the first flake in sight. Molly woke up at 6:30 a.m. to check on the snow and there was a VERY thin layer of snow on the grass. She was dressed and out in the snow while it was still dark. She decided snow made a great breakfast. Lindsey enjoyed the snow a bit less than Lindsey. We no longer have good winter gear and she was frozen to the bone. She was more about hanging out on the couch with snacks and watching the Inauguration.
Lindsey, happier to view the snow from her window
or from the couch.

I am sure the kids were delighted with the snow. Meanwhile here in PA I am sick of it. Seems we get a little bit every other day and now looks like 6 or 8 inches more are on the way for tomorrow. Feb 7th cannot come soon enough.

PS Love the thank you notes from the girls.
Looks like EVERYone is getting the snow? I'm so over it. I'm coping by shopping for the girl's Spring/Summer wardrobe. :)
