Madison and Well's Granny and Old Daddy had quite the Halloween treat in store for the kids. They arrived at their house and were greeted by Granny the Witch and Old Daddy the Pirate.
The hearth was decorated as a pumpkin patch; she had pumpkin luminaries around, they got to play "instruments" she had pulled from the kitchen, and go on a scavenger hunt. Old Daddy then told them a story about The Great Pumpkin Patch and each one of them was a character in the story. A great afternoon put on by two great, fun, creative people!

Chuck E. Cheese
I swore I'd NEVER let either of the girls have a party at Chuck E. Cheese. It's usually total chaos and just more kids running around than I can deal with on any given day. When Lindsey said she wanted her party there, it was hard to not say anything but yes. She asks for so little and she only wanted to invite the boys; Case, Jay, and Wyatt and we'd go right after school. Turns out, it was a great, low key, and fun party. Several hours at Chuck E. Cheese and then the gang came back to our house for another couple of hours. Love how those 4 can't get enough of each other and always get along and have such fun together.
Lindsey on the bike that you're suppose to petal. She was content to sit there and let it just spin her around.

Zoom
Molly has mastered her two-wheeler and now loves her bike almost as much as her scooter. She's been able to ride in a straight line for over a year but just two weeks ago finally figured out turning, going fast, and riding in the cul-de-sac and around the neighborhood. The first ride around the "circle" she was coming toward us and exclaimed, "This is the best day of my life."
She loves to wait for David to come home from work so they can go on a ride. Almost everyday, Lindsey has David take her training wheels off and then about 5 minutes later, she wants them back on. She got up for a few minutes on her two-wheels so stay tuned. Lindsey might be our next biker girl.

She loves her new basket...a treat for learning how to ride her two-wheeler.
Breakfast In Bed
This morning when I started into the kitchen, Molly told me to please not come in. That always makes me nervous. She assured me she hadn't make a huge mess and that no ovens, toasters, coffee pots etc. had been turned on. She was just putting together a little breakfast in bed for her sick sister.
This is the breakfast tray she presented to sick sister Lindsey. Mmmm, sugar cereal and a plate full of cookies to start the day. No complaints from Lindsey!

This and That
Scooter love from Molly. She's now trying to do "scooter tricks." I think this was suppose to be one of them.
The snail sisters. Lindsey found a real snail. The girls had never seen one before. They made it a habitat and were shocked when they went out 30 minutes later to see he had snailed away.Newest foster dog, Sebella. Horrible owners moved and left her inside. Thankfully they lived in a trailer so she could eat through the door and get herself out. So sad.
Early in September, the temperature dropped from 90 degrees to 87. The girls thought it was freezing so they went and put on all the winter clothes they could find. Of course David and I were wearing shorts and shirts. These girls love the heat. Uggggg.
Playdate with friends after school. All the princesses, including Willow.
Ella's chef party. The girls decorated their aprons, made pizza, and decorated cupcakes. Super cute party.
When Molly was the Student of the Week she made an "All About Me" poster. As you can see, she was so very proud of her poster.
